Easter and other misc!

It's been a couple of weeks, but here is the blog for Easter and other misc!

Chris was leaving for training in Ft. Pickett on the Tuesday after Easter, so the kids' and I flew to Kansas a week before Justin and Annie's wedding.  (Thank you J & A for having your wedding during this training to break it up for us!) It was a 2 week long training, so we lucked out and really only had a week of it.  I've been through 2 deployments, so I was laughing to myself on Day 3 of being all alone that there was no way I could get through another deployment alone.  It was a long week, but thankfully, its coming to a close today!

A couple of funny sayings and (maybe not so funny) moments:

Mason has superhero underwear that gets changed almost hourly.  He has a pair that is Flash-(he's super fast so you can't really see him)  I took the kids to McDonalds play place, so they could run off some energy, I'm working on homework and look up and see my child-running around in his underwear.  He was "running" so fast.  He really believed that no one could see him (and thankfully, there wasn't' many people in there) This is the 2nd time this has happened, the 1st time at the playground, (and there were plenty of people around) Thankfully, they were mostly dad's and thought it was hysterical.  Underwear now gets checked at the door and "Flash" is no longer allowed out of the house.

Maddy had been talking all day about how she needed her moons cut.  I got out some paper and cut her moons out.  This wasn't what she wanted, after an afternoon of whining and not knowing what the heck the kid was talking about, she brings me nail clippers.  She wanted her "moons" cut.  Get it?  Kids just amaze me on how they think!

Maddy came to me with her outfit on for the day and I told her "You're so beautiful, you know that?"  Her reply, "Mom, I'm pink, not blue-tiful"  :)

Ok, here is the pics from our Easter weekend!  Enjoy!

Easter Egg donuts!  (For Eden and Mason!)
 Maddy chose a plain one.

 Yay for the Easter bunny!

Getting ready for the Easter egg hunt

 They are excited!

Maddy only looked for the Pink ones!

I'm pretty sure she got the majority of them in her area!

 She's always posing like that.
 Mason's turn!

Since Maddy only got Pink, he thought he was only supposed to get 1 color and he picked Red.
 Red matches baseballs
Another Easter Egg hunt at Eden's house!  (yes, she is in a swimsuit!)
 Sasha came too!

The Easter bunny brought 31 bags!  How ironic!
Maddy sleeps in her swimsuits now.
 Ready for the pool!

They had a fun morning!
