Channing 3 months!

Channing 0-3 Months!

Channing recently hit the 3 month mark and once again I'm amazed at how fast it really does go.   When he was a newborn, I honestly had a hard time knowing that he very soon wouldn't be this little anymore.  He was held more than my last two kids put together I think.  I just couldn't put him down.  Knowing he is my last, it makes each little milestone more important, but also more sad.  I love having babies, I love being a mommy, and I would continue that, but I think my hands are full.  I'm finally content knowing that 3 kids is enough for our family.  Next step will be a baby kitten when I get that baby newborn urge!

At 3 months:  Channing weighs 15lbs and is 25 inches.
He loves being held.
He thinks his brother and sister are the best and smiles big when they get into his face!
He has slept through the night and was getting pretty consistent.....WAS is the key word
there.
His nicknames are "Channers" (which Chris can't stand!) and "Jax"
He is getting more and more social, loves to kick his legs and loves to "talk"
We've started cereal and baby food, he loves it and eats like a champ!
He has yet to roll over and I don't see that in his future plans....

Here are some newborn-3 month pictures!

 Baby Yawn!

So blessed with such a great daddy!
 On the door at OF&H!
 Maddy sharing.
I already miss this cuddly phase!

 They were having a "sleepover!"
I just might have a baby that looks like Me!

 She's such a good helper!
The neatest gift!  These are Jax's actual hand and footprints from when he was a newborn!
Before his famous haircut.  Sporting a faux hawk!
He'd have an awesome one by now..........

4th of July!

I'm getting caught up!

We spent 4th of July at the parade field on Fort Bragg.  We have a fun, great evening.   Mason hated the fireworks before this year.   Hated. Them!  He LOVED them, this year!  He said in the most chill voice "they are just rockets that shoot up into the sky and make colors."  Like, "uh, WHY would I be scared of THAT?"  They also did a salute to the 50 states and shot off canons for each state as they read the state's name.  He loved that as well, and learned they shot them off right after they said the state's name, so he would say, "FIRE" and then they would go off.  He was sure that was his doing.  :)  He's growing up!

 Dancing to the music
 Listening to Gloriana!

Our Yummy drink!  It was the tastiest drink I've ever tasted.  (or maybe it was because it was a million degrees and it was cold???)

Yup, chilling.  And drinking her pepsi.  (bottom 1/4 of mine, actually!)

 Love!
Love 2!

Soccer

Soccer:

Mason participated in soccer this Spring.  He enjoyed it for the most part, especially the snack at the end!  ;)   He finally (the same for all the kids) caught on toward the end of the season.  I was lost on how soccer was played, so it was a learning experience for me, too!

 He's 29 (3rd from the end)

I took pictures during every game, but let's face it.  They all looked the same.

Madeline enjoyed the games as well, she wanted to play with Mason, but picking these pretty flowers week after week definitely helped her pass the time!

Summer!

I'm completely behind in blogging.  So here goes our summer fun!

 Smores!

 Mason's soccer games!
Maddy always kept herself busy by picking "flowers"
Hitting balls became a nighttime favorite
Mason is pretty good...we had to move out of our backyard...he kept hitting home-runners!

Another favorite of our evenings were watching the huge Air Force planes flying right above us.
They were always so close!  So cool!
Chris and Mason making their "chore jars"

They used their chore money to buy fish, just this past weekend!
Getting ready for the 4th of July celebration!
 Listening to Gloriana
 It was so hot!
 My favorite part!
Pepsi, favorite blanket, and baby elephant.  She was happy!
 Chris' family day
I can't even describe to you how hot this day was.

 Just what they needed...........
 Mason was in heaven!
 Eh.....
 :)

 Mason had a blast!
 Learning to ski

We love hanging out on Grandpa's boat!
 Big Mable time!
They were going pretty fast.  Maddy's face was priceless...but she never admitted that she didn't like it.
These two are complete water bugs.
