Family Christmas 2013

Every year we plan to have a "Family" Christmas, but every year it gets pushed aside.  This year, we were determined to make it happen!  I'm so glad we did because I kept smiling to myself all day today thinking about how wonderful it was.  Kids really do grow up right before our eyes, and I love that the Bigs are really into Christmas this year.

We started our "party" right after school and went and seen Santa Claus.  The Santa looked and played the part really well.  We went to Target after and the kids bought presents for each other.  It was fun to watch them decide on what the others would be happy with!  IHop was next on our list, and then we went home and opened gifts.  It truly was a memorable night.  Looking forward to leaving on Friday to celebrate Christmas back in Kansas!

 Love seeing this face everyday!
 He's getting entirely too big!

 Movies for the trip home.
 Pure Joy!

He loves getting these superhero books
He can finally box his dad!
She's been wanting a stroller for her dolls that is tall enough for her to push without bending over.

The kids shopped at school for us.  Dad got a deck of cards.

The dogs enjoyed their presents the most!

 Laugh.  It's funny.

Channing's 1st Birthday!

On November 8, we celebrated Channing's birthday with our lovely neighbors and my mom!  We were thankful that she was able to fly out to celebrate with us on his actual birthday.  During Thanksgiving when I was back home, we celebrated with my family.  Channing enjoyed every minute of it and is now technically a pro at un-wrapping gifts and is ready for Christmas!

We all love our little "Chan-Chan" which has now stuck like glue.  He also gets called Jax, when we get to lazy to say Channing!  He is a ornery, funny, happy little guy.  He loves his puppy's, his blanket, and wants to be doing anything and everything the older two are doing.  He is a complete joy.

Here are a million pictures of his birthday.

These pictures proved to me that I needed studio lights.

 Channing's BFF!

Who could pass up a Cozy Coupe shopping cart?  Not me!

My awesome cousin made his cake for his Oakley birthday!
